HANOI METROPOLITAN UNIVERSITY: THESTUDENT ADMISSION PROCESS AND RELATIVE ISSUES THAT NEED INNOVATIONIN 2021

Abstract

In recent years, especially in 2020 and 2021, the COVID-19 pandemic has
affected to all aspects of society where education is not an exception. For universities,
specifically, the impacts of the pandemic have set barriers to student admission process.
“How can the student admission process be launched effectively, goal-achievable while we
have to ensure all safety regulations” is still a dilemma. In higher education, student
admission process is the core value that indicates the competences, development potentials
of an institution. Therefore, it is required that universities have to find new breakthrough
development paths in student admission process, shackle the process to the development of
the whole institution. To be specific, we have come up with several issues that need
innovating in the student admission process in 2021 of Hanoi Metropolitan University.
