RESEARCHES ABOUT SOCIAL NETWORKS IN THE WORLD AND VIETNAM

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the works of authors around the world on social
networks in the following directions: (i) The perception of friends on social networks; (ii)
The needs and benefits of using social networks; (iii) Personal identity shows on social
networks; (iv) Self-disclosure and confidentiality of information on social networks; (v)
Risks and risky behaviours from social networks and (vi) Dependence on social network
and social media addiction. The reference to the studies of the previous authors helps us
have a more scientific basis and build the theoretical system and research methodology on
social networks. It then points out the current situation of using social media, explains
measures to safely use social media for students in social work (social work) at Hanoi
Metropolitan University in the digital age nowadays
