Abstract

The study aims at investigating the impact of applying flipped classroom on the
satisfaction of students at English Department, University of Foreign Languages, Hue
University towards Writing 4 course. This study was conducted with mixed methods
approach with the participation of 67 English-majored sophomores. The study findings
revealed that most students had a positive attitude towards flipped classroom applied in the
writing course. It was also found out that the flipped classroom model had a significant
impact on students’ satisfaction in the course through its benefits. Students participating in
the survey also had a chance to share the difficulties they encountered in the flipped writing
class and suggested some solutions to improve the effectiveness of applying this kind of
model in the future.
