Analysis of the relationship between leucospermia and seminal parameters in infertile men

Abstract

Leucospermia may cause a decrease in the number and quality of sperm, which may also be related to genital tract diseases such as urogenital tract infections, vasectomy, etc. This study aims to find out a link between leucospermia and some semen parameters in infertile men. A total of 400 semen samples of infertility males aged from 28 to 50 were tested for semen parameters according to WHO 2000 standards. The samples with round cells ≥1 million/ml were stained and counted leucocytes in semen by the peroxidase staining method.
