POLICY OF TALENT RECOMMENDATION IN TU DUC DYNASTY THROUGH DAI NAM THUC LUC

Abstract

Talent recommendation has always been an important policy in selecting talents of Vietnamese feudal dynasties. During the Tu Duc Dynasty, the policy of talent recommendation was particularly focused with the hope of overcoming threats from outside and within the country during this period. The article mainly uses material from Dai Nam Thuc Luc to understand the policy of talent recommendation of Tu Duc dynasty, thereby providing an additional perspective on one of the causes leading to the failure of the feudal in a situation that was unprecedented in the history of the country and the region.
