ON THE STUDY OF RELIGIOUS INSPIRATION IN VIETNAMESE POETRY IN THE 20TH CENTURY

Abstract

Vietnamese literature in general, and Vietnamese poetry in particular from the beginning of the 20th century onwards have selectively absorbed the quintessential ideas of Buddhism and Christianity. Up to now, there have been many studies from different angles on religious inspiration in the compositions of some authors. In this article, we review the researches on religious inspiration in poetry Thich Nhat Hanh, Pham Thien Thu, Bui Giang, Han Mac Tu, Che Lan Vien, Quach Tan, Mai Van Phan.
