Abstract

The article applies the theory of relative human resource allocation from a culturally relativistic approach in order to analyze the factors affecting the decision-making power of   wife and husband within Muslim Cham-Ethnic families in An Giang. The analysis results show that men are the main deciders of "big" and "important" matters, which shows the absolute decision-making power of the husband is still a standard, despite cultural factors which are influenced by the matriarchy of the Cham people.
