ACCESS TO BASIC SOCIAL SERVICE INFORMATION ON HEALTH AMONGST WORKERS COMING TO HO CHI MINH CITY FROM OTHER PROVINCES – A CASE STUDY OF ACCESS TO HEALTH INSURANCE FOR UNDER 6-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN

Abstract

Access to basic social services by workers from other provinces wholive and work in Ho Chi Minh City is not consistent, in which the main barrier is the limitation of access to information. Based on in-depth interview results from 28 household with children under six years old on access to health services in a rural commune in Ho Chi Minh City, the article confirms that the rights to access basic social service are not consistentdue to parents' lack of interest, weak social network and weak communication from stakeholders.
