ADAPTATION AND INTEGRATION OF MIGRANTS – A THEORETICAL OVERVIEW

Abstract

The process of adaptation and integration of migrants into new places of residence is one of the most studied topics in the world. Vietnam is also a country with a high percentage of internal migration and there have also been many studies on migration. This article is an overview of the main theoretical perspectives in the process of integration and adaptation of migrants to serve as a basis for studying this important aspect in the near future in Vietnam.
