POVERTY ALLEVIATION IN THE PROCESS OF NEW RURAL AREA’S BUILDING IN TAY NINH PROVINCE (2016-2020)

Abstract

Implementing the new rural construction program in the 2016-2020 Tay Ninh province no longer had poor households by 2020. On the basis of the current situation of poverty alleviation in the process of new rural area’s building of the province, the article proposes recommendations such as: effective implementating of programs and projects; increasing funding sources for poor households and economic development policy beneficiaries; having specific support policies to restore production after the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic; replicating highly effective models to help people participate in health insurance, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment services covered by health insurance to achieve the goal of sustainable poverty reduction in the future; narrowing the gap between rural areas and urban areas; improving the lives of rural dwellers in Tay Ninh.
