FORMS OF EXISTENCE OF THE TALE TONG TRAN AND CUC HOA

Abstract

Tong Tran Cuc Hoa is a fairy tale, widely circulated in folklore. In particular, the character Tong Tran in the story was built a temple and bestowed by the king as a real historical figure in the countryside of Phu Cu, Hung Yen province. The article explores and studies the forms of existence of the story of Tong Tran Cuc Hoa, such as: 1) The Tale of the Historical Story of Trang Gau by Nguyen Thuc Kiem, published in Nam Phong magazine. 2) The Story of Tong Tran in the fairy tale. 3) Nom poetry story Tong Tran Cuc Hoa. Thereby, the article clarifies the unique features as well as the meaning of each form.
