SOLUTIONS TO HI-TECH AGRICULTURE DEVELOPMENT IN HO CHI MINH CITY

Abstract

Hi-tech agricultural development is inevitable direction of modern agriculture to improve productivity, quality of agricultural product; to solve problems of food, foodstuff, materials, environmental protection, to reduce agricultural production area to serve the demand of economic development, transfer agricultural labour to serve other fields,... The city continues to realize its target of developing modern and effective urban agriculture, sustainable towards developing hi–tech agriculture, to become a center of production of plants varieties, and animal breeds with high productivity, quality and value. The article appreciates the overall situation of hi–tech agricultural development, as a first step to propose essential solutions to develop hi-tech agriculture in Ho Chi Minh city.
