ENHANCING THE EFFICIENCY OF SALARY PAYMENT TO DIRECT WORKERS IN VIETNAMESE GARMENT ENTERPRISES

Abstract

Salary paid to direct labor is not only cost for garment enterprises but also income for direct workers. In fact, conflicts often occur: garment enterprises want to reduce costs including salary cost, and workers want to increase salary. By quantitative methods, simple calculations will help Vietnamese garment enterprises and direct labor evaluate the effectiveness of paying salaries for direct labor in garment enterprises from both sides of employers and direct labor. On that basis, garment enterprises and direct workers have a reference framework from which to understand the causes, and provide appropriate solutions to enhancing the payment efficiency for direct labor in Vietnamese garment enterprises.
