ROLE OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN HO CHI MINH CITY’S HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

Based on potential and advantages, Ho Chi Minh City is aiming to become a center of industry, service, education and training, science and technology of the Southeast Asia. To do that, Ho Chi Minh City determines that education and training play a decisive role in the quality of human resource. In this article, the author presents the role of education and training in the development of human resource; the status of education and training in Ho Chi Minh City in recent years, thus, to propose some innovative solutions to improve the education and training to develop the human resource of Ho Chi Minh City today.
