SOME POLICIES OF THE NGUYEN DYNASTY FOR THE KHAM THIEN GIAM’S OFFICIALS (1802-1883)

Abstract

From 1802 to 1883, to improve the performance of the professional bodies of the court, including Kham Thien giam, the Nguyen Destiny successfully planned and implemented suitable and practical policies for the contingent of officials. From disconnected, scattered sources from the historical books of Nguyen Dynasty, three specific policies of training, selection, appointment, wages, reward and punishment were applied by the emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty for the officials of Kham Thien giam. The research will contribute to clarify the content of each policy.
