Abstract

Benchmarking in general education has been studied and applied in practice by countries of the world. Benchmarking helped schools improve their operational processes, in order to improve the quality of education, contribute to human resources to meet requirements of  the  knowledge  economy  and  globalization.  The  paper  explores  the  benchmarking; benchmark; benchmarking in education, and introduces some models of benchmarking in general  education  of  some  countries  in  the  world,  base  on  propose  solutions  to  apply benchmarking for general education in Vietnam.
