Abstract

The influence of Korean culture to Asian countries including Vietnam is commonly referred to as Hallyu or Korean wave, the wave brings both considerable values and potential threats to receivers. From the perspective of a person providing education serrices, the author would like to present the influences and also certain warnings regarding Korean wave to the Vietnamese youth born in 1980s - 1990s in Vietnam. These influences are discussed from the two major corners: the youth’s spirit; and physical and consumption life.
