Abstract

The increasing demand for the quality of higher education has put lecturers under a lot of pressure. With regard to providing a practical solution for improving teaching and learning quality, this paper aims at guiding how to implement the principles of constructive alignment by John Biggs and Catherine Tang in designing as well as organizing the teaching and learning process. Through using documentary analysis method, the paper has summarized the core concepts, the development of learning outcomes, the selection of assessment tasks, and the teaching–learning activities in order to demonstrate the constructive alignment of those factors.
