MANAGE TESTING AND EVALUATION OF STUDENTS' ENGLISH LEARNIN RESULTS IN HIGH SCHOOLS IN TIEN GIANG PROVINCE
Abstract
The management of testing and evaluation of students' English learning results contributes to improving the quality of teaching and learning this subject in the context of deeper integration with the world. However, in recent years, the management of these activities in high schools in Tien Giang province, Vietnam has not made much progress and met the current requirements. The study was conducted on 212 out of 326 participants, including 34 school leaders and 178 teachers at 39 high schools in the first semester of the 2022-2023 school year. Its results were collected through questionnaires and quantitative analysis using SPSS 20.0 software. Based on the findings obtained from the data analysis, the writer offers some suggestions to improve the efficiency of testing and assessment management, thereby improving the quality of English learning of students.
