APPLYING THE PDCA CYCLE TO THE MANAGEMENT OF EXPERIENTIAL ACTIVITIES: A CASE STUDY OF PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN TANG NHON PHU, HO CHI MINH CITY
Abstract
This article analyzes the current state of managing experiential activities for primary students in Tang Nhon Phu Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, based on the PDCA cycle. Using survey questionnaires and interviews with 164 administrators and teachers, the findings indicate that schools perform well in planning and implementation, particularly in personnel assignment and content definition. A significant finding indicates that the PDCA cycle in managing experiential activities has not been operated in a balanced manner, reflecting a tendency toward administrative-oriented management rather than quality management. This study contributes to clarifying systemic bottlenecks in managing experiential activities at the primary level, thereby suggesting directions for improvement to enhance educational management effectiveness.
