DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AS A KEY SUCCESS FACTOR FOR EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING REFORM
Abstract
This paper examines the process, perspectives, and key requirements of educational and training reform in Vietnam in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0). It clarifies the interrelationship between educational innovation and digital transformation, highlighting how the advantages and achievements of Industry 4.0 should be leveraged to accelerate digital transformation in the education sector. In particular, digital transformation is viewed as a necessary driver for renewing educational content, teaching and learning methods, and educational governance and management models. The paper also presents the guiding principles and legal framework for digital transformation in education, outlines core areas of implementation, and reviews major achievements of the education and training sector in recent years. In addition, it identifies existing shortcomings and limitations and proposes recommendations to further promote digital transformation in education and training as a critical factor ensuring the success of educational reform.
