Abstract

This article presents the research findings on the reality of lecturers’ teaching practices in the early childhood teacher education at universities in Ho Chi Minh City, focusing on the extent to which these practices meet the demands of the educational reform. Results of the survey conducted with administrators, lecturer and students reveal positive aspects, as well as existing limitations in teaching activities. Based on the analysis of the reality, the article proposes specific solutions for innovative teaching methods and formats in a modern direction, contributing to the improvement of the quality of early childhood teacher education in line with the requirements of today's educational reform.
