APPLYING CHANGE MANAGEMENT THEORIES TO SCHOOL MANAGEMENT IN THE CURRENT EDUCATIONAL CONTEXT
Abstract
In response to the challenges of innovation in the current educational context, this study, by applying the change management theories, specifically Kurt Lewin's three-step model and John Kotter's eight-step model, analyzes the factors influencing the change process in school management and the role of change management, organizational culture, and stakeholder participation in the transformation process. At the same time, the study provides some specific results and practical implications in proposing a change management process for appropriate school management, identifying factors affecting the change process, and enhancing the educational quality. The study findings will provide a significant scientific foundation for educational managers in policy making and the development of a flexible, innovative school management system that effectively responds to the challenges of the digital era, serving as a premise for further studies.
