Abstract

In the context of digital transformation in education at military officer colleges  today, applying experiential learning theory (ELT) in teaching social sciences and humanities  plays a particularly important role, which helps comprehensively develop the qualities and capacities of cadets, especially the initiative in accessing knowledge, the ability to apply theory into practice through practical experience activities right in the teaching process; critical thinking, adaptation to military operations. However, the current situation of applying the above theory in teaching social sciences and humanities at military officer colleges still faces many difficulties, such as: slow innovation of teaching programs, limited experience in organizing experiential teaching of the teaching staff, and traditional teaching methods. Based on the study of benefits, necessity and current situation, the article proposes solutions to apply ELT in teaching social sciences and humanities, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of teaching in the context of digital transformation in military officer colleges in the coming time.
