CURRENT STATUS OF MANAGEMENT OF PROFESSIONAL GROUP ACTIVITIES IN HIGH SCHOOLS IN SOC TRANG CITY, SOC TRANG PROVINCE
Abstract
The subject group is an integral component within the organizational structure of high schools. The management of subject group activities plays a critical role not only in enhancing the quality of teaching and learning within high schools but also in contributing to the overall development of education and training. This study was conducted in the context of Vietnam education being reformed in an approach of emphasising the development of student qualities and capacities. This shift requires subject groups’ operations to be more effective. By surveying school administrators and teachers, the study aims to clarify the reality of subject group management in high schools located in Soc Trang. The purpose of the study is to collect relevant data, identify the underlying causes of the current situation, and propose practical management solutions to support school administrators in improving the effectiveness of subject group operations in the future.
