Abstract

The remarkable advancement in science and technology today has intensified the process of selecting high-quality human resources more than ever before. Individuals are required to continually develop and acquire a range of new essential skills for modern work and life. One such skill is problem-solving collaboration, which encompasses cognitive and social competencies. This study focuses on examining the process and methods for developing problem-solving collaboration skills in teaching the course ‘Problem Solving and Decision Making’ for students at the University of Finance - Marketing, with an emphasis on learner-centered approaches. This aligns with the current fundamental goal of higher education in our country. Problem-solving collaboration is a core competency that needs to be cultivated and developed, enabling students to harness their creative thinking, confidently address issues effectively, and collaborate seamlessly within teams to tackle and complete assigned tasks in their studies, work, and daily life.
