REALITY OF MANAGEMENT OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH BY LECTURERS AT LOCAL UNIVERSITIES IN THE SOUTHERN REGION
Abstract
Managing lecturers’ scientific research activities is an important task of the university administration, requiring the high participation of all management levels, including the university president and relevant managerial divisions. Using questionnaire surveys and interviews, the article collected data to describe and evaluate the status of the management of lecturers’ scientific research activities at local universities in the Southern region. The results show limitations in the management responsibilities of administrators at local universities in the Southern region. This provides a practical basis for local university administrators in the Southern region to propose measures to improve management efforts and enhance the efficiency and quality of lecturers’ scientific research activities.
