TESTING AN AI CHATBOT APPLICATION AS A VIRTUAL LEARNING ADVISOR AT KIEN GIANG UNIVERSITY

Abstract

Digital assistance integrated with artificial intelligence (AI) facilitating natural language interaction between humans and machines, are playing a crucial role in the digital transformation across various sectors such as education, e-commerce, tourism, and healthcare, etc. In universities in general, and in Kien Giang University in particular, data on administrative procedure records are huge, with a complex structure and change over time. When students have questions, it takes students and the faculty officers a large amount of time to find accurate answers. We propose experimenting with an AI chatbot framework aiming at serving as a virtual learning advisor to answer questions students may have relating to academic training, based on the Coze AI platform. Program testing results show a relatively high accuracy of the answers.
