AN OVERVIEW OF DEVELOPING PROBLEM SOLVING COMPETENCY FOR 5 - 6 YEAR OLD PRESCHOOL CHILDREN IN TEACHING SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
Abstract
Problem solving is an important ability that needs to be formed for 5 - 6 year old children, creating a foundation for children to enter Grade 1 of primary school and their lifelong learning goals. Exploring science and technology is a dominant activity in forming and developing children's problem-solving capacity. Research results show that developing problem-solving capacity for 5 - 6 year old children through scientific and technological exploration activities has not received adequate attention from content to implementation. Therefore, the study summarizes the overview of research projects on developing problem-solving capacity for preschool children 5 - 6 years old through science and technology discovery activities to help scientists, Managers understand the viewpoints, current status and development trends of problems in the world as well as in Vietnam, thereby developing problem-solving capacity for 5 - 6 year old children.
