Fighting and refuting wrong and hostile views in cyberspace: Awareness and responsibility of officers, lecturers and students

Abstract

Protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against wrong and hostile views is a fundamental content of ideological and theoretical work; it is the essential task of the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army and is one of the critical tasks that determine the survival of the Party and the regime. In the current context of digital transformation, every person, especially officials, lecturers, and students, needs to increase their awareness of "self-awareness and vigilance" when participating in cyberspace. Viet Nam must be alert in identifying the sinister plots of hostile forces, clearly distinguishing wrong views from legitimate criticism. To better do the Party's propaganda work in the new context, viewing social networks as a modern propaganda channel is necessary. A convenient tool to capture the thoughts of officials, lecturers, and students; is a sharp tool in protecting the Party's ideological foundation.
