Current situation and solutions to overcoming the passivity in learning of students of quang ninh university of industry

Abstract

This article has used data from results of the 220 student of course 15 (school year 2023 - 2024)  survey to assess the status of sense of passivity in learning of students at Quang Ninh University of Industry. The content of this article will concentrate on (i) assessing the status of sense of passivity in learning, (ii) analyzing the causes leading to passivity in learning and, and (iii) giving some recommendations to overcome it students' passivity in learning. The results show Students of Quang Ninh University of Industry are still very passive in studying; the situation of students poorly preparing their lessons before going to class or being lazy in searching for information after class is still common; learning methods still depend on the lecturer; Students rarely speak and discuss. Students' passivity in learning is influenced by students' learning habits, teachers' teaching methods, and school facilities
