Abstract

Language and culture are two inseparable factors. The ability of using language is assessed based on a harmonious combination of language competence and cultural knowledge of the country that language is spoken. The article shows the manifestations of Japanese culture through the usage of the word and grammar via Letter Writing in Japanese. Through the article, we wish to systematically and scientifically reflect the outstanding features in Japanese culture such as the sense of nature, the cultural differences of relationship between “inside/ outside relationship”, “senior/ junior relationship " in Japanese.
