Study on distribution characteristics of the fungi genus Polyporus in Thuong Tien nature reserve, Hoa Binh province

Abstract

Thuong Tien nature reserve is one of the most diverse natural resource reserves in Hoa Binh province. Study on distribution characteristics of fungi of the genus Polyporus in Thuong Tien nature reserve, Hoa Binh province, was conducted 2 times at 3 routes in July 2019 and May 2020. The results of the study obtained 21 mushroom samples with 11 species of mushrooms, of which 6 species have been identified and 5 species have not been identified. The genus Polyporus has a relatively widespread distribution in northern areas of Vietnam such as Cuc Phuong National Park, Tam Dao National Park and Xuan Son National Park. Based on the location of the samples collected, the study identified and presented the distribution diagram of the fungal species of the genus Polyporus in the reserve. The results of this study have added species composition to the list of fungi species of Vietnam, serving the research, conservation and development of large mushrooms in Vietnam.
