Abstract

Knitted fabrics are very diverse and rich, it is widely used not only in the
garment sector but also in many other fields. The process of sewing products from
knitted fabrics encounters some phenomena of fabric deformation, deformations
in different positions after sewing, the product is twisted, stretched in
appearance, reducing the aesthetics and properties of the product. use of the
product. We study a number of factors and devices such as differential, presser
foot compression and two single 100% Cotton fabrics of different densities and
weights that affect the degree of knitted fabric deformation during sewing. With
the experimental planning research method, it is often applied in technology
research. This method is effective in terms of time and cost value. Using the
experimental planning research method to build an empirical regression equation
showing the correlation between the two factors of differential, presser foot
compression to the deformation level of two knitted fabrics.
