Abstract

The textile industry uses many resources such as water, fuel, dyes, and chemicals. Meanwhile,
the production process efficiency is low due to the production line, leading to resource waste. Since
water, chemicals, and energy account for more than 70% of total production costs in the textile
industry, reducing the use of these energy inputs plays an important role. On the other hand, the
construction of waste treatment stations must also meet statutory waste content standards. This
paper presents the results of a number of production options to reduce environmental pollution and
limit wastewater in the textile and dyeing industry: Shorten some production; Replacing Sulfuric Acid
H2SO4 with Acetic Acid (CH3COOH) effectively ensures dyeing quality and is environmentally friendly.
We hope that our research will bring reference value to textile and dyeing training institutions as
well as its high applicability for Vietnam's textile and dyeing factories, in line with the circular
economy model, green and lasting.
