Abstract

The flexural strength testing machine for brick sample is an important device
used in the test method to determine the flexural strength and fracture force of
ceramic tiles according to TCVN 6415-4:2016. This paper focuses on design and
manufacturing research of the flexural strength testing machine for brick sample.
The loading method for brick sample is carried out by a pneumatic transmission
system. Arduino Uno microcontroller is used to control the machine, and to collect,
process data. The device allows stepless adjustment of the load speed and displays
the visual results in real time. The equipment can be applied in Vietnam to replace
high-cost imported machines.
