USING FRACTIONAL - ODER PIλDμ CONTROLLER TO CONTROL 3-PHASE PWM RECTIFIER

Abstract

The control systems typically use the conventional PID (Propotional,
Integral, Derivative) controller to control the DC (Direct Current) voltage [1].
Scenario is when using PID controller to control the results relatively well, but
the design parameters are not absolutely precise and sensitive to the changes of
system parameters, the PID controller is used to control frequency inverter threephase PWM (parallel pulses width modulation) , the output voltage can often
overshooting value too high and the selection of the controller parameters is
difficult. This paper proposes the use fractional-order PIλDμ controller instead of
using the traditional PID controller when using the fractional-order PIλDμ
controller, system quality controlling becomes easier and brings efficiency results
superior to using conventional PID controller compliment. This is clearly shown
in the experiment results of the system.
