THE INTERLINKING CONVERTER BETWEEN DC AND AC NETWORKS IN MICROGRID

Abstract

Currently, implementing the idea of a hybrid micro-grid system in the
power system has received great attention from recent researchers. The
interlinking converter under consideration has suitable power management and
conversion functions between the two AC and DC micro-grids. To make optimal
use of energy from renewable energy sources in the grid-connected micro-grid
system to increase the flexibility and stability of the entire power system. In this
paper, the structure of an independent or grid connected DC/DC/AC bidirectional
integrated converter is presented. In this converter bidrection power switchs are
used in the basic form converters Flyback, Boost and H-bridge. Orcad simulation
results are presented to confirm the proposed work.
