Abstract

In this study, we have successfully synthesized silver nanoparticles on TiO2
using reducing agents such as glucose and NaBH4. The effects of AgNO3
concentration, concentration and amount of reducing agent were investigated to
Ag/TiO2 hybrid nanoparticles synthesis. As a result, silver nanoparticles with
particle sizes ranging from 7 to 15 nanometers were uniformly dispersed on TiO2
nanoparticles surface. Antibacterial ability of Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia
coli, Salmonella typhimurium of Ag/TiO2 nanoparticles was also investigated.
