ENHANCING STUDENTS’ SELF-STUDY METHOD BY IMPROVING THEIR TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS: A CASE STUDY AT HANOI UNIVERSITY OF INDUSTRY

Abstract

Self-study methods are widely used at universities over the world. This
study implements the exploration of time management skills, time allocation of
300 students at Hanoi University of Industry for their daily activities especially
time for self-study and research. Research shows that students now spend less
time learning by themselves but mainly in the classroom and entertainment
needs. Accordingly, the author has proposed some recommendations to promote
the application of self-study methods in their learning process.
