Synthesis of amino-deravetive of benzimidazole and benzoxazole

Abstract

    The condensation reaction between o-phenylendiamine (or o-aminophenol) with amino-derivatives of benzoic acid, using polyphosphoric acid with POCl₃ (Phosphoryl chloride), which allows reaction has high yield, short time reaction. The structures of these compounds were identified by IR, GC-MS and ¹H, ¹³C-NMR spectra.
