Abstract

Research context and aims: This study aims at building a teaching and learning model applying the critical reflection method for the subject of English for Pharmacy and at the same time assessing the critical reflective ability of students of the Department of Pharmacy in Nguyen Tat Thanh University. Research method: Students worked in group, participating in roleplay activities based on the topics learned in the English for Pharmacy 1 textbook, creating clips and critically reflected their products via the critical reflection App online. The lecturers evaluated students' reflective abilities through the reflective rubrics combining those of Gibb (1988) and Mezirow (1990). Results: Producing a teaching and learning model applying the critical reflection method for the subject of English for Pharmacy 1.
