Identifying urgent issues in the policy of retraining library human resources to meet the requirements of digital transformation in Vietnam

Abstract

     Retraining library human resources is one of the urgent issues today in the context of the development of science and technology, especially information technology and the trend of digital transformation. Through analyzing the current status of human resource retraining policy to meet the requirements of digital transformation in Vietnam today, the article identifies four urgent issues in the policy of retraining, including: Necessity to form a strategy for retraining and continuing training of library human resources; Forming a framework for specific retraining programs for library human resources to meet the requirements of digital transformation; Forming standards of library human resources in the context of digital transformation, and perfect the management model and organize retraining of library human resources.
