Developing information security policies for information-library agencies with ISO 17799 - 27001

Abstract

    The information security policy is the core factor, which is the center to be able to start building information security solutions for an information system in general and information agencies - libraries in particular. The paper presents the basic issues related to information security, information security policy, the necessity of building information security policy, as well as the information security standards - the foundation for building information security policies at information agencies - libraries.
