• Influence of environmental landscape on psychology and reading habits: an approach to promote the reading culture of students at Banking Academy

Abstract

     University libraries are the cathedral of knowledge, where reserve and share human cultural values. The library atmosphere and landscape directly affect the psychology and reading habits of Banking Academy students. The article presents the impact of geography, open space, private space, green space, sound, light, decorative colours,... to the students’ emotion, health and reading habits; Constructive and directive requirements for library atmosphere include automomy access, easy use, familiarity and non-boredom... In addition, the author recommends to make the most of the available advantages of the Library, improve the reading environment, and develop the reading culture.
