SURVEY OF MECHANICAL AND MICROSTRUCTURE OF SHEAR SPINNING PROCESS OF CONES FLANGE ON CNC LATHE

Abstract
The paper presents the experimental investigation of the change in mechanical properties; the microstructure, and wall thickness distribution when shear spinning of cones flange on CNC lathe. The results show that the distribution of product wall thickness is not uniform due to the bending phenomenon on the flange; the mechanical properties change significantly in increasing strength limit and decreasing elongation relative to the original. The microstructure obtained the particles stretched in the direction of maximum strain, and the average particle area decreased compared to the original organization.
