OPPORTUNITIES OF EMPLOYMENT LINKED WITH DEVELOPMENT OF RENEWABLE ENERGY IN VIETNAM

Abstract

The development of renewable energy (RE) is considered to be an effective solution which increases the maximum utilization of natural resource, mitigates greenhouse gas emissions towards the green economy and, at the same time, increases job opportunities in different sectors and fields in society which meets the growth goal of electric output for RE in Vietnam. This research focuses on analyzing some contents of the job opportunities associated with RE on the basis of the domestic and international documents, which are to develop the types and variety of jobs and improve access to new job opportunities, Vietnam must develop holistic strategies for industry development using the product value chain, combined with proactive human resource development which is suitable to the capacity of each sector and territory
