The affects of learning environment on student’s learning outcomes – a case study of excellent education program in the National Economics University

Abstract

This study investigates the effects of learning environment factors on English learning outcomes from students’ feetback of Excellent Education Program (EEP) in the National Economics Univesity. Using quantitative method based on collected questionaires and data analysis, the study will provide a quite comprehensive outlook on the learners and the real Enghlish learning evnvironment in EEP at NEU. The findings show the learning evnvironment does have effects on the students’ English learning outcomes as follow: Lecturers’ quality is strongest factor (Mean: 3,90); The friends’ effect is the second strongest factor (Mean: 3,89); Forllowing are Infrastructure effect (Mean: 3,73), Tranining program (Mean: 3,71), Administration factor (Mean: 3,69). According to the findings, the author would like to propose some solutions to improve English learning outcomes fo EEPrstudents at NEU.
