Employment issues after graduation of students in Faculty of Geography - Hanoi University of Education

Abstract

Currently, employment issues after graduation of students are concerned by the family, the school and the society. With the desire to properly assess the employment status of students graduating from the Faculty of Geography, Hanoi University of Education, we surveyed 171 students who graduated from course 56 to 64 through a online survey with 20 questions on issues related to job status, time to find a job, place of work, sector of work, field of work, position at work, average income, working time at current job, job search method, suitability of the training program with job requirement, level of satisfaction with work, factors affecting the job application process. Based on the current situation, we propose a number of solutions and recommendations to help students find a job soon.
