Abstract
This paper interprets and analyses the effects of Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) on EFL students’ reading comprehension and reading attitudes. 40 second – year students at Academy of Policy and Development participated in this study. They were divided into two classes – an experimental class and a control class. The research results have confirmed: after the treatment of CSR, the students of the experimental class have improved their English reading comprehension; students with CSR performed better than students without CSR in reading comprehension; after the treatment of CSR, students’ attitudes towards reading skill were improved in the experimental class.
